Company V-1 is an outfit dedicated to creating a professional environment where cadets can flourish and develop the leadership skills that will lead to success in both the private and public sectors of society. Due to the fact that many of our members are prior service active/guard/reserve military we conduct training in a manner that is streamlined to the military. Our number one goal is focused on academics, so we have implemented a mentoring program for our new cadets to achieve academic success at a major university. When it comes to training, we give our cadets the full corps experience while maintaining a high level of professionalism. “Training” refers to teaching cadets the traditions of Texas A&M, military bearing, and the way of life in the Corps of Cadets. In Viper Company, we have a motto... ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’. Our outfit enjoys a high level of motivation and esprit de corps; we are generally a very tight group of people and spend time off campus together and are involved in intramurals and other fun activities.
